Material groups can be used in a cutting plan that contains different types of materials, such as different thicknesses or colors. Let's say you need to cut some pieces from "Type A" material and some other pieces from "Type B" materials. Without material groups, you have to define 2 different cutting plans: one for "Type A" and the other for "Type B". With material groups, you only need to create a single cutting plan.
With the three simple steps you can now set up material groups for every cutting plan:
1) Go to the Settings menu and click on the Material groups menu item.
2) You can define up to 12 different group names.
3) Apply defined group names in cutting plan form in stocks and requirements sections.
3) Cutting plan solution contains data about required stocks and layouts grouped by group names.
